The short version: When you ask us for an estimate, we use your information to get back to you, do the job, and follow up about your project. We don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to other contractors. We use a few trusted software tools to run our website, email, and customer records — those are listed below.
TNE Roofing & Siding ("TNE," "we," "us") is a locally owned roofing and siding contractor based at 6005 Mann Road, Akron, NY 14001, serving Western New York. This policy explains what information we collect through tneroofingandsiding.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information you give us
When you fill out our free estimate form, call, text, or email us, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your street address or town (so we know where the job is)
- The type of work you need, the best time to reach you, and any project details you share
- Photos or other information you choose to send us about your home
Please don't send us sensitive information like Social Security numbers, bank details, or passwords through the Site.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site collects some technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through:
- Hosting logs from our website host, used to keep the Site running and secure.
- Cookies and similar technologies from HubSpot, our customer-records tool, which help us understand how visitors use the Site and connect a submitted estimate request to the pages that person viewed.
- Embedded Google Maps, which may let Google collect information about your visit under Google's own privacy policy.
- Advertising and analytics tools such as Google Ads conversion tracking or Google Analytics, when we run online ads, to measure whether our ads lead to calls and estimate requests.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your estimate request and schedule your free estimate
- To perform the work you hire us for, including scheduling, invoicing, and warranty service
- To send you a short series of follow-up emails about your request (for example, what to expect at your estimate and answers to common questions)
- To improve the Site and understand which pages and ads are helpful
- To protect the Site against spam, fraud, and misuse
- To keep business records and comply with the law
4. Emails, calls, and texts
By submitting the estimate form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message, or email about your request. Every follow-up email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. If we text you, reply STOP to stop receiving texts. We do not send marketing text messages unless you separately agree to receive them. Message and data rates may apply.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with other contractors or marketers. We share it only in these limited situations:

6. Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete: Email or call us and we'll provide, update, or delete the information we hold about you, unless we need to keep it for legal or business records (such as a completed job's invoice or warranty). We aim to respond within 30 days.
- Unsubscribe: Use the link in any of our emails, or just tell us.
- Cookies: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work.
- Do Not Track: The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
7. How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and customer records only as long as needed for the purposes above — typically for the life of any warranty on work we performed plus the period required for tax and business records. Requests that don't become jobs are deleted when they're no longer useful to us.
8. Security
We use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or online service is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you as required by New York law.
9. Children
The Site is meant for homeowners and property owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Other websites
The Site links to other sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and the Better Business Bureau. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
